Meet Some Amazing Animals!
Did you know that the animal kingdom is full of incredible creatures? Some have feathers that sparkle, others hide in the ocean, and a few are so weird-looking that they seem like they came straight out of a fairy tale!
When you search for words like PEACOCK, you'll discover a bird with one of the most beautiful tails in the world. Male peacocks fan out their tail feathers to show off—imagine having thousands of colorful feathers to display! Then there's the AXOLOTL, a creature that lives underwater and looks like it's always smiling. Scientists think it's one of the coolest animals on Earth.
Some animals are masters of hiding. The GECKO can climb up smooth glass walls and has sticky toe pads that scientists are still studying. The IGUANA is a big, scaly lizard that basks in the sun and loves to munch on leaves. If you've ever heard a dog-like howl at night, that might have been a COYOTE calling out to its family!
Not all animals are real, though. The GRIFFIN is a mythical creature you'll find in stories and legends—it's usually part eagle and part lion, and it guards treasures in ancient tales.
