Did You Know? Animals Are All Around Us!
The animals in this puzzle come from all over the world. Some live in the wild, roaming forests and plains. Others live right alongside people in farms and cities. Each one is special and has its own job in nature.
Take the LION, for example. It's one of the biggest cats on Earth and lives in Africa. Then there's the BOBCAT, a smaller wild cat that hunts in North America. Both are hunters, but they live very different lives! The HORSE has been helping humans for thousands of years, pulling carts and carrying people across long distances. The SHEEP gives us wool that we turn into warm sweaters and coats.
Some animals are tiny but super important. The ANT is so small you might step right over it, but ants work together in huge groups called colonies. They can move things much bigger than themselves! The HORNET is bigger and can fly, and it protects its nest fiercely.
Thinking about extinct animals? The MAMMOTH was like a giant, woolly elephant that lived long, long ago. We know about it from fossils scientists found in frozen ground.
Other puzzle animals like the STORK, GERBIL, and BUFFALO each have amazing adaptations. The STORK's long legs let it wade through water. The GERBIL can survive in dry deserts. The BUFFALO's massive size and strength help it survive the grasslands.
๐ก Tip: When you're searching, remember that animal names are pretty long! Look for the first letter and follow the path โ sometimes the word goes down, sideways, or even backward across your grid.
Try finding GERBIL first โ it's a fun one to spot!
