Did You Know? Animals Come in All Shapes and Sizes!
The animal kingdom is absolutely amazing. Some animals live in super cold places, some live in the jungle, and some live right on farms near us. The words you just searched for show how different creatures can be!
Take the PENGUIN, for example. These adorable birds can't fly in the air, but they're incredible swimmers! They waddle on ice and zoom through freezing water. Then there's the OSTRICH, which is actually the biggest bird on Earthβand it can run super fast, even though it can't fly either. Pretty cool, right?
Some of the animals in your puzzle are absolutely huge. A MAMMOTH was like a giant, hairy elephant that lived a really, really long time ago. And the RHINO is still around todayβit's one of the heaviest land animals we have. Other creatures are teeny tiny, like a TADPOLE, which is the baby stage of a frog before it grows legs and hops away.
Here's something wild: many animals protect themselves in different ways. A SKUNK sprays stinky stuff when it's scared. A LADYBUG has bright colors that say "don't eat me!" A BABOON has sharp teeth and lives with its group for protection. Even a COW, which seems calm and quiet, can be strong and tough when it needs to be.
Every single animal has its own special job in nature. Some hunt, some eat plants, some help flowers grow. Learning about them helps us understand our world better!
π‘ Tip: Start with words that have unusual letter combinationsβthey often stand out faster and give you confidence to find the rest!
