Cool Creatures All Around Us
Great job working through this animal puzzle! You've been exploring some of the most amazing creatures on Earthβand one that only exists in stories.
Did you know that real animals like the PELICAN, CRANE, and HAWK are all incredible fliers? A PELICAN has a huge pouch under its beak to catch fish, while a CRANE can fly thousands of miles during migration. The HAWK is a super-fast hunter with amazing eyesight. These birds are built differently than each other because they do different jobs in nature.
On land, you might find a MEERKAT standing on its back legs, keeping watch for danger. This little animal lives in groups in Africa and works as a team with its family. Other animals like the WOLF and VIPER are hunters too, but they're very different. A WOLF hunts in packs with other wolves, staying close together. A VIPER is a snake that hunts alone, and it's deadly but also beautiful.
Then there's the SEALβa mammal that loves the water! Seals are playful and smart, and they can hold their breath for an amazing amount of time underwater.
And of course, you found the GRIFFIN, which is a mythical creature made up of an eagle and a lion. It exists in stories and legends, not in real life, which makes it extra fun to imagine!
Every single animal has special powers and tricks that help it survive. That's what makes nature so interesting to explore.
π‘ Tip: I always start by looking for the longest words firstβthey're easier to spot than the short ones!
